The Urban Renaissance Gala, is one of the premiere young professional events in St. Louis and surrounding areas. This year’s event, Night of the Vanguard: Honoring Leaders. Today, Tomorrow and the Future will honor community champions who have made a commitment to the development of education, social justice and ensuring positive impacts within our communities. We are more than excited for this year’s event, hosted on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel. An evening of celebration with cocktails, dinner, dessert, dancing and a tribute to our award recipients.

ULYP –STL is an auxiliary of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis comprised of young leaders who volunteer their time, energy and talents to improving the lives of residents throughout the metropolitan area. We are seen as a leader among a network of more than 66 chapters throughout the nation, and members of the chapter have gone on to lead organization within almost every sector. ULYP-STL desires to promote and sustain a resurgence of young adults living in St. Louis and working together to further the Urban League Movement.

None of our work would be possible without the support of area businesses and corporations, such as yours. Gifts provided by our neighbors have allowed us to support service programs in the St. Louis community, such as our youth mentorship program, our month-long community service blitz that generates more than 1,000 volunteer hours each March and a contribution to the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis.

This year, we expect more than 250 diverse young professionals, entrepreneurs and Urban League board representatives to come together to network and share their achievements within the community. We invite you to attend this event and have premier exposure to this progressive group of leaders.
